BID CALL:

The Town of Normal will receive sealed bids for the following:

“Asbestos Abatement Sprague’s Superstation (Route 66 Museum)” 

Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Asbestos Abatement Sprague’s Superstation (Route 66 Museum)" with the time and date of the opening, which will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. prevailing time, at the Normal City Hall. Any questions regarding this bid will be addressed at a mandatory pre-bid conference to be held on March 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. convening in the front lobby of the project site. Town employees are otherwise prohibited from answering questions prior to the bid opening. 

State statutes and local ordinances require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job. Bid Forms and Specifications may be obtained from the Town Clerk, 11 Uptown Circle Avenue, Normal, Illinois 61761 or downloaded from the Town’s website, www.normal.org on March 16, 2023. The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedures. The bid award will be made by the Town Council and their decision will be final.
