Uptown Circle ADA Improvements
General Project Description: This project consists of furnishing all work necessary for the completion of sidewalk ramp removal and replacement, including handrails, in the Uptown Circle Central Plaza and sidewalk removal and replacement, curb and gutter removal and replacement, at 124 W. North Street in the Town of Normal, Illinois. The proposed improvements consist of the following approximate quantities: 678 SF Sidewalk Removal; 1 L. Sum Handrail Removal; 1 L. Sum Pipe Handrail; 295 SF PCC Sidewalk, 4” (Special); 383 SF PCC Sidewalk, 4”; 49 LF Combination Curb & Gutter Removal; 49 LF Comb. Conc. Curb & Gutter Type B-6.18; 10 SF Detectable Warning; 1 L. Sum Sodding; and all other work required to complete the project according to the plans and specifications.
Bids must be submitted to the Town Clerk in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Uptown Circle ADA Improvements” at the following location before the following date and time:

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 1:30 PM via Microsoft Teams. On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, meeting access information will be sent by email to all plan holders of record.
