2. The Town of Normal Parks & Recreation Department has exclusive jurisdiction and supervision over all trees and shrubs on Town-owned property. Under Town of Normal Municipal Code, Section8.7- Trees and Shrubs, a permit must be obtained by residents and contractors wanting to perform any of the following activities on Town-owned property impacting the tree canopy.
