How long do I have to correct violations on a commercial fire inspection?
Fire re-inspections are scheduled two to three weeks from the date of initial inspection. The reinspection will be unannounced and will occur sometime in the WEEK listed on your original inspection form. If you are unable to correct the violation by the time you are scheduled for re-inspection (ex: parts are ordered, but have not arrived), please contact the Prevention Division as soon as possible at 309-454-9616.
