Normal Parks and Recreation has reached an agreement with Santa Claus’s North Pole Headquarters to arrange a phone call from Santa Claus for local children ages 2-10. Parents that would like their children to receive a phone call from Santa must register by calling the Parks and Recreation Department, at (309) 454-9540. Santa makes his calls the second Monday and Wednesday nights in December between 6 - 8 p.m.  

Call the Parks & Recreation Office at (309) 454-9540 to reserve your child’s spot on Santa’s list.

Registration Begins: Monday, Nov. 7 at 8:30 a.m.
Phone Call Dates: Monday, Dec. 5 & Wednesday, Dec. 7
Phone Call Times: 6-8 p.m.

When you call to register your child, we ask that you have answers prepared for the following:

• Child’s Name
• Boy/Girl
• Age
• Birthdate
• Home Address
• Phone
• Pets? (type, name, tricks, etc.)
• Favorite Toy
• Best Friend/Playmate
• School/ Daycare Facility
• Teacher/Grade
• One item on Christmas List they WILL receive
• Anything else Santa needs to know or mention during the call?
