Do Not Park Within 30 Feet of a Signalized Intersection
Parking is prohibited within 30 feet of a traffic signal to allow for better sight-lines between pedestrians and motorists approaching the intersection, and to ensure that vehicles waiting to turn at the signal can see oncoming traffic on the other approaches.
Tip: Most cars are 18-20 feet long, so the space between you and a stop or yield sign should be larger than a single parking space.
