Angie Huonker- Town Clerk

Angie Huonker has served as Town Clerk for the Town of Normal since 2017. In this role, she is responsible for official records, vital statistics and proceedings for the Town of Normal, as well as supervising the activities of the Clerk Department. 

Prior to being named Town Clerk, from 2015 to 2017, Huonker served as the Deputy Clerk where her primary responsibility was complying with all Freedom of Information Act requests received by the Town. Before joining the Town of Normal, Huonker was the Finance Manager for the Bloomington Normal Economic Development Council. There, Angie was responsible for management of their capital campaign and financial administration.

Currently, Huonker is serving as the president and an Audit Committee member of the Central Illinois Municipal Clerk Organization, an organization for which she has been a member since 2015. She is involved with the Audit, Membership, Program and Training Committee for the Municipal Clerk of Illinois. Since 2018, Huonker has served on the Conference Committee of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. In 2021, Huonker was appointed to be a member of the Institute Training Committee for the Municipal Clerks of Illinois and became a Certified Municipal Clerk for the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
