Hidden Creek is a 5.5-acre sanctuary located off
Constitution Trail and Sycamore Street. The site was bought by the city in 1998
to preserve it as a natural wayside for wildlife and for individuals to enjoy activities
such as bird watching. Amenities have been added to the area such as benches
and picnic tables. The park is meant for those who truly enjoy nature.
Town of Normal Parks & Recreation added educational signs about monarch butterflies and a photo-worthy set of butterfly wings to Underwood Park in addition to new birdhouses designed to attract birds to the
